About Me

I’m Dustin Woods — a leadership and organisational development practitioner based in Dubai, working across the UAE and internationally.
For more than 25 years, I’ve worked inside organisations across retail, banking, consulting and family businesses - in the UAE, Singapore, Pakistan, the UK and Australia.
I’m interested in the hidden dynamics that shape how organisations actually function beneath the surface:
how power moves,
how trust erodes,
how teams become disconnected,
and why intelligent people often end up trapped inside systems that quietly produce the wrong behaviours.
Much of my work is experiential — creating the conditions where teams can see what’s actually happening more clearly.
Often for the first time.
I’ve found the sessions where people laugh the most are often the ones where the most honest work gets done.
Outside work, I’m drawn to many of the same questions that shape my professional life — how humans make meaning, how groups behave, and how people adapt inside increasingly complex systems.
I read widely across organisational psychology, systems thinking, philosophy, behavioural science and hard science fiction — usually all at the same time.
I’m fascinated by the impact AI may have on work, identity and human judgement over the years ahead decade.
And somewhere amongst all of that, I’m also a husband and father of twins, which has probably taught me more about leadership than any workshop ever has.
